Voter and Election Information
The City of Shasta Lake consolidates with Shasta County for its municipal elections. The Shasta County Elections office is responsible for issuing candidates' informational booklets and nomination papers, receiving and reviewing candidates' statements, processing petitions and ballot measures, and certifying election results.
Candidates interested in running for an elected office in the City of Shasta Lake must file with the Shasta County Clerk/Registrar of Voters at 1640 Market St., Redding, CA. 96001.

Voter registration cards can also be obtained at City Hall at the Customer Service counter, 4477 Main Street, Shasta Lake, CA 96019.
The next General Election is to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
The positions for election include:
- City Council Member (3) - Four-Year Term
The Nomination period opens on Monday, July 15, 2024.
The last day to file Nomination Papers is Friday, August 9, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
*If an incumbent does not file, then the deadline will be Friday, August 14, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
