Pursuant to the provisions of the Landscape and Lighting Act of 1972, being Part 2 of Division 15 of the California Streets and Highways Code, commencing with Section 22500 (hereafter referred to as the “1972 Act”), and in compliance with the substantive and procedural requirements of the California State Constitution Article XIIID (hereafter referred to as the “California Constitution”), the City Council of the City of Shasta Lake, County of Shasta, State of California (hereafter referred to as “City”), propose to form and levy special benefit assessments for the district to be designated as the Shasta Gateway Industrial Park Landscape and Lighting Maintenance District.
On March 19, 2024, the proprietors of the Shasta Gateway Industrial Park decided to establish the Landscape Maintenance District. The City will collaborate with our consultants to develop informational handouts for the rest of Fiscal Year 2024, and the updated charges will be included in the upcoming tax assessments.
