Planning Commission Responsibilities

The Planning Commission consists of five members that are either residents or business owners within the City. Members are appointed by City Council and serve a four (4) year term. The Commission serves as an advisory board to the City Council on all matters related to planning and development. The decisions of the Planning Commission are subject to appeal to the City Council. City Council has the final say in all City matters (see Municipal Code 2.16).

Meetings

The Shasta Lake Planning Commission meets at 6:00 PM on the first Thursday of every month at the Shasta Lake City Council Chambers, 4488 Red Bluff Street, Shasta Lake, CA. Meetings are open to the public.
